This publication is a creative journey through the most significant projects of the Ferrari Styling Centre since its establishment in 2010 under the direction of Flavio Manzoni. After years of collaboration with Pininfarina, Ferrari set up its own design studio, developing a new design approach that, over the years, has become increasingly integrated and structured within the company. Ferrari Design. Creative Journeys allows readers to retrace the past 15 years of the company’s activity through the work and achievements of the Ferrari Styling Centre: unique sports cars, the result of constant refinement in design, creativity, engineering and production, of the contributions of designers and engineers, and of all those whose dedication and commitment have made it possible to create such high-performance sports cars, ever more perfect in every aspect, capable of attracting and fueling the passion for Ferrari. Revealing some of the processes behind their creation offers an opportunity to further appreciate their uniqueness. From the creative impulses of the designers, expressed in initial sketches and drawings, to the development of the entire design process through the fine-tuning of models and prototypes, visitors are invited to discover often unseen aspects of our work, to deeply understand the meaning of research, flair, creativity, and the inventive spirit that is so closely tied to a distinctly Italian way of doing things. Sketches, drawings, photographs, and renderings created with the most advanced technologies, alongside models shaped by hand, offer a profile of the work accomplished so far and, at the same time, the desire to involve the reader in these authentic Creative Journeys.
