This volume is mainly a collection of articles based on the papers delivered during the Third Central European Conference of Young Egyptologists. Egypt 2004: Perspectives of Research, which was held from the 12th to the 14th of May 2004. in the National Museum in Warsaw within five subject groups: Archaic and Old Kingdom Studies, New Kingdom Studies, Nubian Studies, Language and Textual Problems and Museums and Collections.
